NIS America has put out a playable demo for R-Type Final 2 on Switch in the west.
The demo is downloadable from the Switch eshop, and gives players a good preview of what the game has to offer, including ship customization and battles. A trailer for the demo can be found below:
R-Type Final 2 launches on April 29th for Japan and April 30th for the West.
