Random: Artist Reimagines Pokemon Sword/Shield’s Pokemon As Classic Game Boy Color Sprites

Ever wondered what Pokemon Sword/Shield‘s collection of Pokemon would look like if they debuted on the Game Boy Color handheld instead? Thanks to one industrious fan, we can take an now imaginary peek at what that would be like!

As you can see above, illustrator and pixel artist Pat Ackerman recently completed and shared an impressive collection of over 100 pixel sprites depicting all of the Galar region’s new Pokemon! This even includes Galarian variants of old favorites such as Weezing, Corsola, and more!
