Last month, data scientist Max Woolf AKA Minmaxir, trained an Artificial Intelligence (AI) to look at images of Pokemon and generate its own original designs based on what it had seen, with the results ranging from kind of good to extremely horrifying.
Now, Woolf’s employer Buzzfeed has released a quiz that allows users to create their own one-of-a-kind AI generated Pokemon. The quiz was built in collaboration with Buzzfeed writer Dave Stopera, asking visitors to input the Pokemon’s type, capture location, overall appearance, and more in order to generate original Pokemon.
