Random: Exploit Allows Players To Use Pokemon Other Than Kubfu In Pokemon Sword/Shield Isle Of Armor Tower Trials

Following the release of the Shiny Amoonguss Mystery Gift for Pokemon Sword And Shield, players have discovered that it allows for an interesting exploit for the Isle Of Armor DLC.

For those who may not be aware, at one point during the Isle Of Armor DLC’s main story the player must complete a trial at either the Tower Of Darkness or Tower Of Waters, where the are only allowed to bring Kubfu into battle.

However, if you choose to receive a Mystery Gift Pokemon while you are already inside the tower for the trial, the Mystery Gift Pokemon will be automatically added to your party, allowing you to use it for the trial in addition to Kubfu.

Although the Shiny Amoonguss mystery gift is now over, this exploit will presumably work with any Mystery Gift Pokemon that is distributed in the future. Its not quite necessary in order to complete the trial, but it could prove handy for players that just need the extra edge.
