Last month, Nintendo released the Alarmo, an alarm clock that plays sounds from various Nintendo titles to wake owners up.
Its only been a few weeks, but fans have managed to hack the Alarmo’s software. As Wii U reverse engineer GaryOderNichts demonstrates, it is now possible for the Alarmo to run the classic version of Doom, keeping with the long tradition of getting the first-person shooter to run on unorthodox platforms such as calculators, Lego bricks, and within other games.
