Back in 2017, Kellogg’s collaborated with Nintendo to produce the popular Super Mario Cereal in the US. Well, it looks like the food manufacturer will be diving back into the world of videogames once again – although this time, they’ll be adapting the blocky fun of Minecraft!
Kellogg’s has announced an August release for the Minecraft Creeper Crunch Cereal – a cinnamon-flavored cereal with green ‘Creeper Bit’ marshmallows. Each box will also include a special code that unlocks one of 10 in-game clothing items for one’s Minecraft avatar!
Here are some quotes from Kellogg’s, along with a sharper picture of the box:
“Kellogg’s Minecraft Creeper Crunch Cereal extends a delicious experience beyond the breakfast table!
Inside every box is a code that unlocks one of 10 in-game clothing items, allowing Minecraft’s users to customize their characters head-to-toe with cloaks, jackets and more! Typically only available through purchase, these clothing items offer players a fun way to personalize their characters’ unique style in-game – exciting for any gamer!”
For now, the cereal is only due for release in the US, with a price of $4 for an 8 oz box or $5.69 for 12 oz.
