Random: Luigi eShop Prepaid Cards Are Always Worth Less Than Mario

Mario fansite Supper Mario Broth has made an interesting observation on the design and monetary value of Nintendo eShop prepaid cards.

Although the design and monetary value of Nintendo eShop prepaid cards have always changed since their 2006 debut, cards with Luigi’s face have always been worth less than Mario. For example, the latest Luigi Nintendo eShop cards are worth USD10, while the Mario cards have a value of USD20.

This phenomenal has consistently manifested itself in all regions where the cards are sold.

What do you think? Let us know in the comments.

UPDATE – Apparently it’s not the case in Japan.
