Recently, The Pokemon Company launched new official community forums, intended to give fans a place to get up to date on the latest news as well as share and discuss various Pokemon related topics.
Although this sounds like a great idea on paper, the forum has since been flooded with a variety of odd and somewhat inappropriate threads, such as wondering which Pokemon would be good to eat for lunch or which of the game’s human characters is the most attractive. One poster even referred to it as “Miiverse 2.0”, a forum which faced similar issues while it was active.
Although there are some genuinely on-topic threads in the forums, it seems the moderation team will have to work hard to keep things family friendly. What do you think? Let us know in the comments.
