A very strange and hilarious story has surfaced online relating to the official Tiktok account for the Pokemon franchise.
According to reports, the official Pokemon Tiktok account posted a short music video featuring a mascot Pikachu dancing around a Lucario statue. What made this video especially strange and hilarious is that it is accompanied by a cover of “If You’re Happy And You Know It, Clap Your Hands”, with the lyrics changed to include swearing.
While the original video was swiftly taken down, it was just as swiftly reuploaded elsewhere on social media, such as by @josh_withey below:
At the time of this writing, it is not known how this video ended up on the official Pokemon Tiktok channel. Some believe that since the account is predominantly Japanese, the video was likely created by someone who enjoyed this cover of the song, but was not familiar with the meaning of the swear words interspersed throughout the lyrics.
