Random: Pokemon Shield Customer Finds Two Cartridges In Their Copy Of The Game

Often, we hear horror stories where Switch customers find empty or bruised game cases in their mail – along with the hassle of having to exchange it later. Well, this strange story today is definitely a pleasant exception!

Reddit user u/Au_rai was apparently lucky enough to receive TWO cartridges of Pokemon Shield in their copy of the game. The package was also sealed on arrival – so it was most likely some form of manufacturing error on Nintendo’s end, if this image is to be believed.

You can take a look at the original post below.

Bought a sealed copy of shield today from a well known UK retailer. Opened it up to find this. from r/NintendoSwitch

Of course, this probably not the first ever case of such a fortunate fluke happening. Still, we wonder just how many double-cartridge copies of Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield are out there currently!
