A few weeks after the game’s launch, a speedrunner has managed to beat The Legend Of Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom in under one hour.
This run was submitted by Zdi6923, who has speedrun other Zelda games in the past, achieving a time of 59 minutes and 22 seconds. This is an Any% speedrun completed on Version 1.1.1., and is a little over 3 minutes faster than the previous record holder.
Most of the speedrun is spent completing the game’s tutorial area to get all the abilities necessary to complete the game. Once this is done, the run is a matter of rushing towards the final boss and taking them down.
