By now, most folks will know about the hardcore platforming adventure Celeste – where players help the titular Celeste scale a deadly mountain. The game has been the focus of many speedrunning events in the past, thanks to its fans constantly finding new and skillful ways to conquer it – and this year was no exception!
During the recent Awesome Games Done Quick Online charity event, speedrunner PeekingBoo clocked an impressive 14:41 run on Celeste – beating all of its super-difficult C-Side levels in a single playthrough. This wasn’t just any plain speedrun, however, as PeekingBoo completed all these levels with nothing but a Dance Pad to substitute regular controller inputs as well!
