Some limited edition items inevitably shoot up in value – but this one might take the cake.
Walmart recently put up a bizarre listing for the Super Mario Maker limited edition snow globe. The kicker is that it’ll cost you a paltry sum of $10,000 to get it for yourself! What a steal!
We can’t imagine anyone purchasing this with a sane mind, especially since it goes for much cheaper on even eBay.
What do you think? Was this a mistake on Walmart’s part? Let us know your thoughts below.
Update: We understand that the listing is under a third-party re-seller being hosted by Walmart. Nevertheless, it still seems a little strange on Walmart’s part to allow such a listing to stay live, especially since this asking price is essentially daylight robbery compared to other re-sellers on the internet. In any case, let’s hope no unsuspecting customers fall into this trap.
