We got more comments coming from former Nintendo of America President Reggie Fil-Aime’s lecture at Cornell yesterday, courtesy of ResetERA user Theorymon.
Reggie told the audience that it was important for companies to hire different kinds of people. By that, he meant hiring people of different ages, races, gender, sexual orientations, and backgrounds. He lambasted companies that hired the “same type of people”. A diverse company leads to “better ideas” and “better results”.
Reggie also revealed that Nintendo of America has internal diversity programs that supported women and LGBT groups within the company, so looks like Reggie is walking the talk.
