In a recent Kotaku interview, Nintendo of America COO and President Reggie Fils-Aime discussed a variety of topics, including the upcoming Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
During the interview, Kotaku brought up the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Season Pass and how fans wanted Waluigi to be included in the game. Reggie shot that down by saying Nintendo has already decided on the DLC roster and nothing will ever change their mind on the characters that appear in it.
When asked whether Waluigi was in the DLC roster, Reggie said “we’re not here to discuss that at this point of time”.
Finally, Reggie reiterated Nintendo plans to only release five DLC packs for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, and there will absolutely be no micro-transactions.
