Aside from Bunny Day, Animal Crossing: New Horizons can look forward to another major in-game event taking place this weekend.
On April 11th, players’ islands will play host to the game’s first ever Fishing Tourney. In this event, the special character C.J. will appear on the island as the host of the event from 9AM to 6PM. After this, the next Fishing Tourney will be held in Summer on June 20th.
During the Fishing Tourney, C.J. will challenge players to catch as many fish as possible within a 3 minute timeframe, awarding points based on the number of fish caught, these points can then be exchanged for various prizes. C.J. will also pay you additional bells for any fish you catch.
As the event lasts for a limited time, players may want to get up early and stock up on fish bait before heading out for their challenge.
