Nintendo of America has released a reminder on the end of Wii Points addition, in preparation for the Wii Shop’s imminent closure on January 30, 2019.
From March 26, 2018 at 1pm Pacific Time, Wii users will no longer be able to add Wii Points to their Wii Shop balance. These points are required to purchase Wiiware and other content on the Wii Shop.
Wii Points must be fully spent before the Wii Shop closes on January 30, 2019. There will be no refunds for unused points.
