Retailers Jacking Up Prices Of Updated Switch In Some Parts Of The World

In August 2019, Nintendo started rolling out a new updated Nintendo Switch model with longer battery life than the old model.

Although the updated model retails at the same suggested retail price as the old model, retailers in some parts of the world have taken advantage of the situation by jacking up prices of the updated model.

For example, a retailer in Poland is selling the updated Switch model for USD450, about USD110 more than the old models which retail for USD340 in Poland.

Meanwhile, in parts of Southeast Asia such as Brunei and Singapore (thanks Yoyu), the updated models cost USD41 to USD50 more than the old models.
