Rhythm Heaven Groove Tops Japanese Physical Game Sales Charts On Launch
Famitsu has published their latest sales data for the week ending in July 5th 2026, revealing just how well Rhythm Heaven Groove performed on launch in Japan.
According to Famitsu’s data, Rhythm Heaven Groove was the number 1 selling physical game released for the week, crossing 393,378 units sold in just 2 days. This figure makes it the fastest selling Rhythm Heaven game in Japan to date, more than twice the launch sales of the previous installment. The second highest selling game for the week Ganbare Goemon Daishuugou! did not even come close, reaching around 60K copies by comparison.
