Rivals of Aether Plans To Launch On Nintendo Switch, Seeks Help To Port Game From Game Maker

Dan Fornace’s Smash like fighting game, Rivals of Aether, is currently being looked into for a Switch release in 2018.

As Fornace stated in a blog post, he is currently looking into bringing Rivals of Aether, which did tremendously well on Steam, to the Switch. However, as the game was created with Game Maker Studio, he is currently looking for experienced developers to assist with the porting.

Finally in 2018, we will be looking to bring Rivals of Aether to more platforms. These won’t be happening until we have completed the Definitive Edition as that is the version we plan to bring to consoles. Right now we are prioritizing the Nintendo Switch as we are currently looking into developers who can help us port the game out of Game Maker Studio so we can release on the Switch.

Rivals of Aether looks like a game that will do tremendously well on the Nintendo Switch, so all the best to Fornace!
