Kadokawa, the publishers of RPG Maker MV, have announced RPG Maker MV Player will launch on January 10, 2019 in Japan.
RPG Maker MV Player is a tool that allows players to play games created by other users in RPG Maker MV. It’s a free download on the Japanese region Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch. In order to create games, you have to purchase RPG Maker MV first.
In addition, we’ve also learned that bug fixes for RPG Maker MV are still underway, but there’s still no word on a release date for the next major patch. RPG Maker MV was delayed in the west due to these bug fixes.
