Excited for the upcoming LEGO Super Mario sets hitting store shelves next month? Well, it looks like something else from Nintendo’s history might be getting some LEGO love as well!
According to some reportedly leaked photos from Hong Kong-based site VJ Game, Nintendo and LEGO will apparently be collaborating further to release a LEGO Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) set – complete with a LEGO-fied television, controller, and cartridge!
If this leak is to be believed, the set will weigh in at 2,646 pieces and priced at €229.99 – with a rumored release date in August. Apparently, the set will also feature some simple interaction with the LEGO Super Mario figure, which can be placed on top of the TV.
Check out the photos below:
As always, we urge our readers to take these photos with a grain of salt – as Nintendo and LEGO have not announced anything official as of the time of writing. We’ll report back if and when we get official clarification on whether these images and the set are legitimate.
In the meantime: what do you think? If this set is indeed real and launching in the future, are you getting one for yourself? Feel free to share below!
