Capcom, the publisher behind Street Fighter, Monster Hunter, Mega Man, and other major game franchises, has reportedly set up a new branch in Singapore.
This report comes via a Linkedin page belonging to Ikuo Hirano, who is listed as being the the Director for Capcom Singapore PTE LTD, having held the position for about a year. This page is backed up by an entry on the SGP Business Registry, which claims that Capcom’s Singapore offices have been registered in the country since as far back as April 2020.
The registry lists the business; principal activities as “wholesale of computer games” and “publishing of gaming software/applications” which seems to strongly suggest this is the same Capcom we are familiar with.
At the time of this writing however, further details about this alleged branch are scarce. Stay tuned for more details as they come.
