Today we have an interesting piece of news to share with you about a potential sequel to the award winning game Cuphead.
During the Bancroft Brothers podcast hosted by the director of Disney’s Mulan, the director revealed he had received three major 2D animation job offers. One of the job offers is for a sequel to a major video game that was popular last year.
The director also added that one of the job offers required people to create old-school scanned-in drawings for their games, unlike the majority of game developers digitally animating their games. The only major game to have done this so far is Cuphead, so this could very well mean that a sequel to Cuphead is in the works.
