Earlier this week, we reported that dataminers had discovered some unannounced details about the Crown Tundra DLC hidden in the files for the recently released Isle Of Armor DLC for Pokemon Sword And Shield.
Since then, dataminers have uncovered even more data for the Crown Tundra left inside the Isle Of Armor files. This includes models for new human characters being introduced in that DLC, as well as potential hints for some yet-to-be-revealed Pokemon.
As these could potentially be spoilers for the DLC, you can find the details after the spoiler warning below.
Firstly, Pokemon dataminer mattyoukhana discovered that the developers left character models for Peony, a “village chief” character, and a female “adventurer” in the game. Notably, this female “adventurer” is likely Peony’s daughter, who is mentioned in his character profile. There are also models for what could be generic villager NPCs.
Next, fellow Pokemon dataminer SciresM uncovered what could be the final Pokedex numbers for the Crown Tundra. According to his findings, the Crown Tundra will bring the total number of Pokemon up to at least 898, which includes the two new Regis, Calyrex, as well as two unrevealed Pokemon codenamed “Hakuba” and “Kokuba”.
Interestingly, the data also suggests that the two new Pokemon can combine with Calyrex in some fashion. As the Japanese codenames “Hakuba” and “Kokuba” can be translated to “White Horse” and “Black Horse” in English, some speculate that this could explain the previously datamined title of the final mission of the Crown Tundra, which refers to a “Sovereign” (Calyrex) and his “Steed” (the horses).
Of course, as with all datamines, we caution readers to take this information with a grain of salt. We will be sure to share more details as they come.
