Earlier today, dataminers on Reddit managed to extract what appears to be the full list of DLC Characters coming to Mortal Kombat 11.
The files come from the Switch version of Mortal Kombat 11, which is now out in the wild due to some retailers breaking street date. They were first highlighted on Reddit by a user called LeoNatan. After being met with skepticism, LeoNatan posted a detailed guide of the hacking process for verification. A second user going by PikachuIzGod apparently followed this guide and posted an album of screenshots backing up LeoNatan’s claims.
The list of DLC characters from this datamine are presented below. As the list has a reasonably high likelihood of being real, we caution readers not to continue if they are afraid of being spoiled.
– Shang Tsung
– Joker
– Nightwolf
– Sindel
– Terminator
– Spawn
– Ash Williams
– Fujin
– Sheeva
While there are a number of names on the list that stand out, the inclusion of Spawn is of particular interest. For those who may have missed it, Spawn was previously teased as a potential addition to the game’s roster during an AMA with his creator Todd McFarlane. If this leaked DLC roster is real, then it looks like McFarlane wasn’t joking around when he said Spawn was “on his way”.
Like with all leaks, we caution Nintendosoup readers to take this one with a grain of salt despite evidence supporting its legitimacy. We will be sure to bring official confirmation of these supposed DLC characters as it becomes available.
Mortal Kombat 11 is scheduled to launch on April 23 on the Nintendo Switch.
