Rumor: Galarian Star Tournament Trainer List Datamined For Pokemon Sword/Shield Crown Tundra DLC

Earlier this year, The Pokemon Company revealed a new feature called Galarian Star Tournament would be coming in the Pokemon Sword And Shield Crown Tundra DLC, which allows players to battle alongside the game’s key characters in a tournament event.

Today, dataminers have shared what could be a list of trainers that will appear during this tournament, pulled from the recently released Isle Of Armor update.

According to the list shared by Pokemon dataminer mattyoukhana, the Galarian Star Tournament will feature every single Gym Leader, all three rivals, and the Champion Leon. An assortment of Gym Challengers specializing different Pokemon types will also participate.

In addition, Matt also discovered a list of references to trainer battles titled “Dream Matches”, as well as battles with Crown Tundra character Peony and popular rival Marnie. Although their purpose is unknown, they are likely to be placeholders in preparation for the DLC’s eventual release.

As with all datamines of this nature, we caution readers to take them with a grain of salt. We will be sure to share more when official details about the Crown Tundra are announced.
