It looks like Kirby’s Return To Dream Land Deluxe might be getting a little more extra when it drops on Nintendo Switch later this year!
Fans online have reportedly uncovered what appears to be an early peek of the game’s back sleeve from a display copy, as seen below. Most of the sleeve shows features that have already been announced such as Merry Magoland and multiplayer, but one detail in the bottom right corner may stand out to diehard Kirby enthusiasts:
If you cannot see it clearly, it states that the game will apparently include a new “Magolor Epilogue” – where players will have to “brave an extra quest after the ending”. There was no such epilogue in the original Wii title, so this means players will getting completely new content if this leaked image is genuine.
Of course, Nintendo has not made an official announcement about this “epilogue” yet – so it remains to be seen if this photo is simply some elaborate fake or the real deal. We’ll report back if we hear more in the future.
Kirby’s Return To Dream Land Deluxe will be hitting Nintendo Switch on 24 February 2023.
