Some interesting speculation has surfaced online about the next classic Legend Of Zelda title that could be making its way to the Nintendo Switch.
The title is none other than The Legend Of Zelda: Wind Waker, with the speculation sparked by an unlikely source: Nintendo Of Korea. As detailed by @pikzel08 on social media, Nintendo maintains an official timeline for The Legend Of Zelda series online, which is available in multiple languages, including Korean. The timeline lists all Zelda games which have an official Korean translation by their Korean translated names, while those that have not received one are listed under their English names.
Strangely however, Wind Waker was the exception to this rule until relatively recently, having been listed with a Korean translated name despite having never received an official Korean language release. @pikzel08 theorized that this could suggest that a new port for Wind Waker is in the works for Switch, which includes an official Korean translation. This would be similar to the when Hyrule Warriors was re-released for Switch, upon which it received a Korean translation.
That said, as with all speculation of this nature, we caution readers to take it with a grain of salt. Stay tuned for more updates as they come.
