Following the leaked Game Boy/Game Boy Advance emulator, some new files have surfaced about additional games that could have been planned for the Switch Online’s NES Library.
This new leak is reportedly from the same files as the Game Boy/Game Boy Advance emulator, and is allegedly an older build of the Switch Online NES Collection from October 2019. Unlike the version that’s currently live, this older build lists a number of games that are still not on the service, including multiple games from the Mega Man and Castlevania series, as well as Pac-Man, Galaga, Tetris, and more:
It seems likely that these unreleased titles are planned to be launched for the Switch Online service sometime in the future, although it is also possible that this is a list of titles Nintendo was hoping to include, but were ultimately unsuccessful in securing.
