Sabi, a fairly prolific industry insider, has revealed two new Nintendo titles that might be in the works for a 2020 release.
According to Sabi’s sources, a new Paper Mario game and a new 2D Metroid are scheduled to release in 2020. Specifically, the unnamed sources claim that Paper Mario would be a return to “how it was” for the series, while the 2D Metroid game will be related to Metroid Fusion.
Notably, a “classic” Paper Mario game and a Metroid Fusion follow-up are both games that fans have been wanting for quite some time, so it would be an absolute treat for everyone involved should this rumor be true. For the same reasons however, its may be better to take the claims with a grain of salt.
