Last year, a rumor surfaced that LEGO and Nintendo were gauging interest in a Legend Of Zelda Great Deku Tree Lego set, becoming the next Nintendo franchise to receive the brick treatment after Super Mario and Animal Crossing.
Now, several LEGO blogs have reported that this rumored set will be launching this year on September 1st 2024. One such blog is Bricktastic, which reportedly has a track record for sharing accurate information about upcoming LEGO sets. Bricktastic also repeats many of the original claims about the Great Deku Tree set, such as supporting both Ocarina of Time and Breath Of The Wild appearances, as well as including minifigures Ocarina Of Time Link & Zelda, as well as their Breath Of The Wild counterparts. There will also be new pieces for the Hylian Shield and the Ocarina.
As with all rumors of this nature, we caution readers to take them with a grain of salt. If the set is indeed planned to launch this year, it is likely we will get an official announcement very soon. Stay tuned for more updates as they come.
