Earlier this week, Konami announced they would be bringing the Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Vol. 1 to Switch, a collection of the first three Metal Gear Solid games as well as some other classic titles from the series.
Following this announcement, some new evidence has surfaced suggesting that a follow up “Vol. 2” collection could be planned for the future. This evidence comes via the collection’s official website, which some intrepid fans have discovered contains placeholder buttons for subsequent entries into the Metal Gear series that aren’t part of the Vol. 1 collection: Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker, and Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. This discovery has led to speculation that these three games will be included in an eventual “Vol. 2” collection that will be officially announced at a later date.
That said, we caution readers to take this information with a grain of salt. Furthermore, even though the collection might be real, it is not guaranteed that it will eventually come to Switch. Stay tuned for more updates as they come.
