Rumor: More Anonymous Sources Claim That A Detective Pikachu Sequel Is In The Works

Following the film’s wildly successful worldwide debut, more rumors have surfaced of a possible sequel to Detective Pikachu.

Rumors about a Detective Pikachu sequel have been circulating even before the film premiered, no doubt due to the strong positive reception of the promotional material and subsequently the film itself.

These latest rumors come courtesy of Comicbook.com, who claim that anonymous sources “involved with the production” confirmed that Legendary Studios was moving forward with a Detective Pikachu sequel, with plans to eventually expand into a Pokemon cinematic universe.
