Earlier this week, Nintendo officially revealed that the successor to the Nintendo Switch was on the way, with more details set to be announced sometime this fiscal year.
Through this announcement, rumors and speculation continue to swirl about the successor’s potential specs and capabilities. This latest batch comes via Famiboards, where users have been tracking shipments and customs data between Nintendo, NVIDIA, and other relevant sources. Based on their findings, they believe that the commercial model of the Switch successor is likely to have the following specifications:
- 12 GB RAM (two 6 GB 7500 MT/s LPDDR5 modules)
- 256 GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage
- Console and/or controllers includes built-in microphone.
Of course, as with all rumors of this nature, we caution readers to take them with a grain of salt. Stay tuned for more updates as they come.
