Following the speculation sparked by Gamestop’s mysterious placeholder listings, a new rumor has surfaced about the possible Nintendo Direct that could be coming sometime in September.
This new rumor comes from known industry insider Emily Rogers, who has a fairly good track record of leaking accurate information. According to Rogers, a Nintendo Direct is indeed happening, and was set to air in the first week of September last she heard. This supposed Direct would cover games launching from September 2019 to March 2020, and will happen before the Tokyo Game Show later that month.
You can check out the comment below, as taken from Resetera.
The date may have changed, so please be kind, but I’m pretty sure it’s next week. First week of September.
Covers the games from autumn to winter (from September 2019 to March 2020)
Like some people mentioned above, they would have to have the Direct before the TGS.
As with all rumors of this nature, we caution our readers to take them with a grain of salt. Thankfully, we will not have to wait too long before finding out if this rumor is true or false.
