It has been several months sine Nintendo’s last Direct presentation, and fans are chomping at the bit for more news about the company’s upcoming games and announcements.
Now, a new rumor suggests that fans might not have to wait too much longer. According to Portuguese news site Nintendo Universe, the next Nintendo Direct could be coming as early as later this week. Nintendo Universe claims that ” anonymous and reliable sources” told them Nintendo would host its “traditional news presentation” during the week of 23rd June, and that it will feature announcements for “first party games” meaning it will not be Partner Showcase.
Nintendo Universe has reportedly shared accurate leaks in the past, which is one of the main reasons this report has gained traction among fans. This is in addition to the usual speculation from fans and industry insiders that occur around this time, since June was previously when Nintendo would host their big “E3” level presentation. Stay tuned for more updates as they come.
