Dataminers have discovered some unused content for Pokemon Scarlet And Violet which could hint at upcoming DLC.
The information was first highlighted by doipy hooves on the Smogon Forums. While poking around in the data, doipy hooves discovered references and dialogue tied to two characters who do not appear in the base game: Billy and O’Naire. The character O’Naire also has some trainer data leftover, where she owns a Meowth that knows Pay Day. As their names combined are a pun on “Billionaire”, doipy hooves speculated that these two characters could be Nemona’s rich parents, and may possibly appear in DLC if they weren’t scrapped.
Heath, the author of the Scarlet and Violet books, is also listed as a character with dialogue, even though he does not appear or have a speaking role in the games. Fans have taken this to suggest that Heath might also appear or have a role in the games’ potential DLC.
That said, we would caution readers to take these findings with a grain of salt, as its entirely possible that these are simply leftover data from the game’s cut content. Stay tuned for more updates as they come.
