Last month, a patent describing the mysterious app Pokemon Sleep was reportedly discovered online, found by visiting the official web domain The Pokemon Company set up for the app.
Following that discovery, the domain name has been updated yet again. This time, visiting the pokemonsleep.com website takes visitors to the announcement for the Pokemon Presents showcase that was scheduled for 27th February 2023. This has sparked speculation that we might finally receive more information about the app after 4 years of little to no information.
That said, others remain skeptical about this change, with some believing that the domain name could have been purchased by an outside party after expiring, and was set up with this redirect as part of an elaborate troll. Whatever the case, The Pokemon Company has yet to make any official announcement regarding Pokemon Sleep, and we will likely have to wait for next week’s Pokemon Presents to get a definitive answer.
