A prominent reviewer and reporter of the Nintendo community has brought new information on Pokemon Switch than may be much more accurate than what we’ve heard in the past.
The reporter in question is none other than NintenDaan, who works for popular websites and Youtube channels such as GameXplain, GoNintendo, and Nintendo World Report. While he doesn’t usually report on rumors he have heard, this is the first time he discusses about them on a podcast.
During a podcast, NintenDaan said his sources close to Game Freak weren’t sure whether the upcoming Pokemon RPG for Nintendo Switch would be ready by 2018, but sources close to Nintendo were more confident of the game launching in 2018.
Then Daan was asked what kind of game Pokemon Switch would be, to which he answered, “I will say this in a tactical way: It is not gen 8. It is kind of a remake, but not a remake of Diamond and Pearl”.
Later, the co-host of the podcast said he hoped to play a remake of Pokemon Red/Blue. Daan then said “well you are not that far of”.
As NintenDaan has a huge reputation to protect, it is unlikely he would make this up, and there is probably some truth to what his sources told him.
