Over the past few months, rumors and speculation about the successor to the Nintendo Switch have reached new heights, with many claiming that it will be launching as early as this year.
Recently, a report posted by a Taiwanese economics site shared some possible hardware specs for “the new Switch”, describing their sources as “industry insiders”.
According to these sources, the Switch successor will receive a price increase by 33% to $400, a move attributed to the inflation and increased production costs. They also mention some specific technical features for the new console, summarized below:
- NVIDIA’s T239 processor
- 8GB of RAM
- 64GB of storage
- “Greatly improved” battery life
- 120Hz screen refresh rate
Broadly speaking, these rumored features are in line with what many have already speculated the Switch Successor will be like. However, as with all rumors of this nature, we caution readers to take them with a grain of salt. Stay tuned for more updates as they come.
