It seems that Smash Ultimate may have more on the way aside from new characters.
Dataminers have discovered some hints towards the return of Stage Builder and Home Run Contest to Smash Ultimate. These hints surfaced when they examined files relating to the “How To Play” section of Smash Ultimate. More information in Sourcegaming’s video on the discovery below:
Stage Builder and Home Run Contest were fan favorite modes in previous entries of Smash Bros, but were strangely missing from Smash Ultimate. As such, this discovery gives some hope that both modes will be making a comeback sometime soon, although nothing is set in stone.
