Adding more to the mystery, a user on Famiboards shared a video from Italian Youtuber Poro Michele, who claimed to have received a DM from an anonymous user on March 21st, including all of the above details as well as these tidbits:
- Mario Kart World DLC postponed to 2027
- Super Metroid remake will have a “pixel art style”
- Mercury Steam is indeed working on Metroid 6, but it will not be out in 2026
- OoT remake will not be based on the 3DS version
As with all rumors of this nature, we caution readers to take this info with a grain of salt. Stay tuned for more updates as they come.
