Last Week, Nintendo announced a closed playtest for a new feature for the Switch Online, open only to a few lucky Expansion Pack subscribers who signed up.
Despite Nintendo’s requests that players keep the feature a secret, some content from the playtest appears to have leaked online. Specifically, its screenshots of an instruction page explaining how players can participate.
Broadly speaking, the playtest appears to be for a social game where players all over the world work together to explore and develop their own planet. The design aesthetic seems fairly generic, but it is unlikely that its a fully accurate representation of the final product, whatever it may be.
At the time of this writing, Nintendo has yet to officially share any further details about how this new feature will develop moving forward. Stay tuned for more updates as they come.
