Ahead of the release of the new Switch OLED model next month, an interesting rumor has surfaced regarding the regular model of Switch.
According to French Nintendo news outlet Nintend’Alerts, the regular model of Switch will apparently be receiving a price cut in France, dropping from EUR330 to EUR270. Nindend’Alerts claims that the price drop will be announced next Monday, and if true, would be the first time the Switch has received a price drop in its four years on the market. At the time of this writing, it is not known whether this supposed price drop will extend to regions outside of France.
That said, we caution readers to take this report with a grain of salt, as Nintend’Alerts’ claim has yet to be corroborated with other sources. We will be sure to report back with more details should they become available.
