Rumour: Netflix All Baked and Ready for Launch on Nintendo Switch

According to a reader-submitted rumour to GoNintendo (link), Netflix has already completed and submitted a Netflix app to Nintendo for launch on the Nintendo Switch eShop.

The GoNintendo article also suggests that the ball is now in Nintendo’s court whether or not to approve the app for launch, meaning that if everything goes well, Netflix would be on the Nintendo Switch real soon.

According to a Netflix customer service rep, Netflix is “locked and loaded” for Switch. Apparently Netflix has been trying to get permission to launch their app on Switch, and as soon as Nintendo gives the go-ahead, the app can be added to the eShop. As of right now, Netflix is just waiting for Nintendo to give the green light.

If all this is true, then Netflix users will have another device for them to catch up on their content with. No complaints about that on our side.
