During the 3rd Rune Factory 4 Special livestream, Marvelous shared more details about the game’s “Another Episode” mode along with what fans can expect in terms of future announcements.

As detailed during the stream, “Another Episode” is an extra mode that features new voice dramas recorded for the character Ventuswill as well as the twelve bachelors and bachelorettes. A summary of the mode’s key details can be found below, courtesy of Siliconera:

• The mode is accessed via the main title screen.
• All voice dramas will have newly recorded dialogue and illustrations
• Ventuswill’s voice drama is free and will ship with the game at launch
• The other voice dramas for the twelve bachelors and bachelorettes must be purchased separately for 700 yen in total
  • However, players who buy and play the game starting on the release day of July 25, 2019 to August 26, 2019 will receive these voice dramas for free

In addition, Marvelous also announced that Rune Factory 4 Special will be available pre-load from the Japanese Switch eshop starting today at a 10% discount, all the way up to August 7th 2019.

Finally, Marvelous revealed that the next edition of Rune Factory 4 Special‘s livestream series would be to commemorate the game’s launch. Furthermore, they confirmed that it will contain new information about Rune Factory 5.

Rune Factory 4 Special is set to launch on July 25 for Switch in Japan, with a western release planned for later this year.
