Reliable industry leaker Sabi has put out a new and bold claim about the Crash Bandicoot series.
According to them, another Crash Bandicoot game is now in development under Activision and possibly Vicarious Visions. Unlike the past few Crash releases on Switch, however, this rumored title will apparently be a totally new entry in the series – not just a remake!
There may be some precedent for a completely new title. After all, Activision previously commented that it was interested in revisiting some of its classic IPs like Crash and Spyro – after their recent remakes performed splendidly.
Of course, we can only speculate wildly about what Activision has planned for now. We’ll report back when we hear more.
