Sakuna Chronicles: Kokorowa And The Gears Of Creation Announced

Publishers Marvelous, XSEED Games, and Marvelous Europe, and developer Edelweiss have announced a new spin-off game for Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin.

The spin-off is titled Sakuna Chronicles: Kokorowa And The Gears Of Creation, and will focus on Sakuna’s close friend Princess Kokorowa, the goddess of  wheels and inventions. At the time of this writing, specific platforms have not been announced.

 “Currently in development by Edelweiss, developers of the smash-hit indie action platformer and rice-farming sim Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin, [Sakuna Chronicles: Kokorowa and the Gears of Creation] is the first entry in an expanding Sakuna franchise. The game will tell a spin-off story focused on the brilliant Princess Kokorowa, Sakuna’s close friend, who is a high-ranking goddess presiding over wheels and inventions from her heavenly home.”
