In the latest Masahiro Sakurai Famitsu column published this week, the Super Smash Bros. director talked about how game creators don’t want their games to simply be viewed as products.
On this topic, Sakurai informed readers that sometimes, he doesn’t enjoy playing the games he has created before. This is because while playing a game he had created, he’d recall regrets and “memories of things going off plan”.
Despite the bad memories that may surface, Sakurai himself believes there’s no need to fret over what’s already set in stone.
